Penn West Exploration is committed to the well-being of the communities and areas where we operate. As part of this commitment, Penn West believes that community investment is a fundamental part of our corporate culture.

Donation / Sponsorship Eligibility
  • Organizations must be located in and serve a community within Penn West Exploration’s areas of operation. Visit the homepage to view map of Penn West's areas of operation.
  • The organization must be a registered charity eligible for a tax receipt or an established not-for-profit (this includes sports teams).
  • Organizations must be able to prove that they are of sound financial standing.
  • Organizations must align with /support at least one of Penn West’s four Community Investment focus areas.
 
How To Submit A Donation Request

Penn West requires all organization and/or teams who are applying for a donation to complete and submit an on-line application form.

*Please note: Organizations are cautioned to ensure the correct spelling of all names and addresses are provided when submitting requests. It is important that this information match the information on the organization’s bank account to ensure proper issuing of cheques. Due to the large volume of requests received each month, any submissions that provides incorrect information will be in danger of cheques not being re-issued and the donation cancelled.*

To successfully submit an application on-line please follow the below steps:

  1. Review Penn West’s Community Investment Guidelines to ensure that your organization/project aligns with Penn West’s guidelines and eligibility requirements. Be sure to also review Penn West’s Community Investment Program Restrictions.
  2. Review our Community Investment Frequently Asked Questions.
  3. If your organization /project fits within Penn West’s Community Investment Guidelines click on the submission link below to start the application process.
  4. Set up a username and password.
  5. Answer all of the questions required to successfully submit a donation application.
  6. Hit “send” and your application will be processed in a minimum of 4-6 weeks.
  7. Click here to submit an application for a donation or sponsorship.
